Five Questions About Ethicoin: Supply, Gold Index and River Clean-Up Explained
NEW YORK — A plain-English guide to Ethicoin (ETHIC+): the chain it lives on, its one-trillion fixed supply, how its gold index works, how it funds river remediation in Ghana and how it sits beside RICHX and RBTX.
Ethicoin (ETHIC+) presents itself as a gold-indexed token with an environmental purpose. Below, we work through the questions newcomers most often ask, using the figures set out in the project's white paper and on-chain records.
Which network does it run on?
ETHIC+ lives on RichX Chain (Chain ID #20260618), an EVM-compatible network based on the London EVM. The chain uses QBFT Proof of Authority, which gives each block immediate finality after five seconds.
The token follows the RXC-20 standard. Its contract address is 0x7023Bb290be415b05491bBBaa45f4D15e4407E46, it has 9 decimals and it supports EIP-2612 gasless permits.
How many tokens exist, and what do transfers cost?
According to the Ethicoin (ETHIC+) White Paper (Final Edition, 4 September 2026), exactly 1,000,000,000,000 ETHIC+ were minted in a single event when the contract was deployed.
The code contains no mint function, so that number cannot grow, and no self-destruct function. Moving tokens costs no transfer fee: a 1,000 ETHIC+ payment arrives as 1,000 ETHIC+.
What is the gold index?
The project publishes an on-chain formula linking each token to a reference weight of gold. First, 90,000,000,000 is divided by circulating supply to get grams per token. Circulating supply is defined as totalSupply() minus the 100 billion ETHIC+ remediation balance.
That figure is divided by 31.1034768 and multiplied by the live XAU/USD spot price to give the indexed value.
Holders can burn tokens permanently. Because none can be minted to replace them, every burn lowers circulating supply and lifts the gold reference for the tokens that remain.
How is the environmental work paid for?
Ethicoin does not levy a tax on transactions. Instead, 10% of the total supply, 100,000,000,000 ETHIC+, is reserved for restoring the Pra, Ankobra and Birim rivers in Ghana, which have been harmed by unlicensed gold mining (galamsey). The project says every allocation is visible on RichXScan.
Security rests on separate Owner and Guardian keys stored on different hardware, a 48-hour timelock, and a per-transaction cap of 1,000,000,000 ETHIC+, equal to 0.1% of supply.
How do RICHX and RBTX fit in?
RichX Coin (RICHX) is the chain's native coin and pays for gas. Its 1 billion supply was fixed in the genesis block, and a transfer at the 1 gwei minimum costs 0.000021 RICHX.
Bitcoin RXC (RBTX) is a separate Keccak-256 proof-of-work token on the same chain, capped at 21 million with no premine and a 5 RBTX block reward. It can be mined from phones and browsers.
