Bitcoin Collapse Warnings Put Spotlight on Ethicoin's Burn-Only, Gold-Indexed Design
NEW YORK — As warnings of a Bitcoin collapse circulate, Ethicoin (ETHIC+) on RichX Chain presents a different model: a supply that can only shrink, a public gold formula and zero transfer fees.
Warnings that Bitcoin could be heading for a collapse have pushed some observers to look at how other tokens are designed. Ethicoin (ETHIC+) on RichX Chain describes itself as an ethical option, and its case rests less on hype than on a set of fixed rules written into its contract.
Supply that only moves one way
The central idea is simple. Every one of the 1,000,000,000,000 ETHIC+ tokens was issued at deployment, as set out in the project's white paper (Final Edition, 4 September 2026). No mint function exists, so new tokens cannot appear later.
Holders can, however, burn tokens on-chain. Once destroyed, they are gone for good. The project says this is what makes the model deflationary over time.
Turning burns into a gold reference
Ethicoin links that shrinking supply to gold through a published formula. Grams per token are 90,000,000,000 divided by circulating supply, with circulating supply defined as totalSupply() minus the remediation balance. The indexed value is grams per token over 31.1034768, multiplied by the XAU/USD price.
Put plainly, fewer tokens in circulation means more grams of gold reference behind each one.
The technical base
The token lives at 0x7023Bb290be415b05491bBBaa45f4D15e4407E46 as an RXC-20 contract with 9 decimals. RichX Chain uses the London EVM and QBFT Proof of Authority, with 5-second blocks that the project says are final immediately. There is no self-destruct function in the contract.
Transfers cost nothing in token terms: the fee is 0%, and EIP-2612 permits let users sign approvals without paying gas first. Network gas is paid in RichX Coin (RICHX) at 1 gwei, equal to 0.000021 RICHX per transfer. RICHX has a 1 billion supply set in the genesis block.
Guardrails on control
Two separate administrative keys, an Owner and a Guardian, are held on different hardware. A 48-hour timelock applies, and transfers are capped at 1,000,000,000 ETHIC+, or 0.1% of supply, per transaction.
An environmental mandate
A tenth of the supply, 100,000,000,000 ETHIC+, is assigned to cleaning the Pra, Ankobra and Birim rivers in Ghana, harmed by unlicensed galamsey gold mining. The project says each allocation is visible on RichXScan.
Alongside ETHIC+, the chain hosts Bitcoin RXC (RBTX), a Keccak-256 Proof-of-Work token capped at 21 million, with no premine and a 5 RBTX block reward, which can be mined from browsers and phones. For reference, the deployment record cited by the project lists Chain ID #20260618, the ETHIC+ contract 0x7023Bb290be415b05491bBBaa45f4D15e4407E46, block 0xaa682 and transaction 0xc9ac198b8df8fbea20260618.
