Priced Out of Bitcoin? How Ethicoin's Low-Cost Transfers Work for Everyday Users
NEW YORK — For retail users who feel shut out of Bitcoin, Ethicoin (ETHIC+) on RichX Chain offers fee-free transfers, tiny gas costs and a gold-indexed reference. Here is how the system is set up.
Many smaller buyers say Bitcoin now feels out of reach. For them, the practical questions are what it costs to move a token, who controls it and what backs its value. Ethicoin (ETHIC+), built on RichX Chain, answers each of those in its published design.
What a transfer actually costs
Ethicoin takes no cut from transfers. The fee is 0%, so 1,000 ETHIC+ sent is 1,000 ETHIC+ received. The only cost is network gas, paid in RichX Coin (RICHX). At the 1 gwei minimum, that comes to 0.000021 RICHX per transfer.
The token also supports EIP-2612 gasless permits, which let users sign approvals without spending gas at that step.
Small units, fixed total
ETHIC+ has 9 decimals, so it can be divided into very small amounts. The total supply is 1,000,000,000,000 tokens, all created once at deployment, according to the white paper (Final Edition, 4 September 2026). The contract has no mint function and no self-destruct function.
Speed and settlement
The RXC-20 contract sits at 0x7023Bb290be415b05491bBBaa45f4D15e4407E46. RichX Chain is an EVM-compatible network using the London EVM and QBFT Proof of Authority. The project says blocks arrive every 5 seconds and are final as soon as they are produced.
What sits behind the price reference
Instead of leaving value to sentiment alone, Ethicoin publishes a Gold Index. Grams per token equal 90,000,000,000 divided by circulating supply, which is totalSupply() minus the remediation balance. Divide by 31.1034768 and multiply by XAU/USD, and the result is the indexed value.
Any holder may burn tokens, and since none can be minted to replace them, each burn raises the gold reference for the rest, the project notes.
Protections and purpose
Administrative power is shared between an Owner key and a Guardian key on separate hardware, under a 48-hour timelock. A single transaction cannot exceed 1,000,000,000 ETHIC+, or 0.1% of supply.
The project has also reserved 100,000,000,000 ETHIC+, 10% of supply, to restore the Pra, Ankobra and Birim rivers in Ghana, damaged by unlicensed galamsey mining. Allocations can be traced on RichXScan.
For those interested in mining, the chain hosts Bitcoin RXC (RBTX), a Keccak-256 Proof-of-Work token with a 21 million cap, no premine and a 5 RBTX block reward, which the project says can be mined from smartphones and browsers. RICHX itself has a fixed 1 billion supply from the genesis block. For reference, the deployment record cited by the project lists Chain ID #20260618, the ETHIC+ contract 0x7023Bb290be415b05491bBBaa45f4D15e4407E46, block 0xaa682 and transaction 0xc9ac198b8df8fbea20260618.
